Had a pretty wonderful day. The weather was absolutely amazing ... it was downright perfect. I spent much of it outdoors, hanging out with the parents and reading. I had planned to go see the fireworks, but then my father lit the fire pit out back (first time we'd used it), and it was just too comforting.

After lunch at the Pond House today, I went on a walk around the park and took some photos. I was really glad it had rained earlier, so it was really nice out and even the humidity wasn't that bad. I had a really great day shopping with Diane and my parents. I decided not to drag my camera along because it was SO hot outside today, so basically it was running in and out of stores to stay in the AC. I babysat Ziggy last year for a couple of weekends for one if the professors here at my job. Back then he was already a big dog for a 1 year old ...

Today he came for a visit and I was shocked at how much bigger he got! He's still the friendliest dog ever and quite handsome ;)

The trip today was a lot of fun. There weren't that many of us, but I think it made it more interesting. Definitely hilarious. I freakin' think my professor is awesome.
